Island Escapes

Island Escapes is a full-stack transportation and booking management system designed to streamline operations for island-based transportation services. The platform serves as the central nervous system for coordinating ground transportation tasks, connecting administrators who create and assign jobs with dispatchers who coordinate operations and drivers who execute transportation services.

Technical Architecture

The backend leverages Phoenix Framework with Elixir and PostgreSQL, implementing real-time capabilities through Phoenix Channels and PubSub for instant updates across web and mobile clients. The mobile application is built with Flutter, utilizing Riverpod for state management and REST APIs for seamless data synchronization.
